Dave Ferrick

CEO and President

As CEO of Agero, Dave Ferrick oversees and directs the  global roadside and telematics business development and operational strategies. Ferrick joined Agero 20 years ago and has established a proven track record of ongoing success that combines deep experience in sales, account management, product management, contact center operations and data analytics. His broad-ranging expertise, thought leadership and focus on innovation have played a key role in Agero’s growing market share and rise to prominence as a global industry leader.

Previously, Ferrick served Agero as President, Insurance and Automotive Services. In this capacity, he led a team that experienced significant and ongoing growth by creating additional value for current and prospective insurance and automotive clients and their customers. Prior to that, Ferrick was Director of Product Management for the Insurance Market, where he was responsible for developing an executable mid- and long-term growth strategy for the business through new and enhanced product offerings. In the past, he has held numerous roles within the company including Director, Sales Planning and Analysis; Product Manager; and Account Manager.
 
Ferrick holds both a bachelor’s of science and doctorate of law degree from Suffolk University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

Michael A. Saxton

Senior Advisor

As the former CEO of Agero, Saxton continues to serve as Senior Advisor, sharing the rich legacy of his long tenure and experience.

Saxton joined Agero as president more than fourteen years ago, and has been instrumental in transforming the company into a leading global company servicing some of the world’s most prominent brands within the automotive and insurance markets. Under Saxton’s leadership as CEO, Agero achieved international presence and gained tremendous market share for roadside assistance within the automotive and insurance markets. His unwavering customer focus has resulted in numerous industry and peer awards for Agero’s products and services.

Prior to joining Agero, Saxton served as Vice President of Global Sales of GE Capital Fleet Services, the largest vehicle management company in the world. During his tenure with the company, Saxton held a number of senior positions spanning operations, product management, and sales; and was selected for GE’s highly acclaimed Management Development Course at Crotonville.

Saxton earned his bachelor’s degree from Kent State University.

Peggy Ward

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer

As the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, Peggy Ward brings over 20 years of finance, operations, and business planning expertise. During her tenure leading finance, human resources and facility management, she has played a primary role in M&A transactions, most recently with the sale of Agero Connected Service Inc. to SiriusXM. She has been responsible for leading the development of scalable financial and human resource processes and systems, as well as driving a performance-oriented culture, all instrumental to Agero’s growth as a prominent market leader.

Prior to joining Agero, Ward was the Vice President of Finance at the Casual Male Retail Group, Inc., and also held executive level finance and operations positions at the Stride Rite Corporation, and Allied Domecq QSR (aka Dunkin’ Brands). Peggy started her career with Ernst & Young in Boston, where she earned a CPA from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 

Ward holds a Bachelor of Science from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, and attended the Tuck Executive Program in General Management at Dartmouth College. She is a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Mass., as well as a member the Women’s Advisory Board of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. 

Jeffrey Blecher

Senior Vice President, Strategy

As Senior Vice President of Strategy, Jeffrey Blecher brings over a decade of experience as a consultant to senior executives from Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms and startups on strategic, operational and technology related issues. 

In his role, Blecher is responsible for the development of Agero’s long-range strategic plans and objectives, including the identification and evaluation of both organic and acquisitive growth opportunities. In addition, Blecher oversees Agero’s Product Development, Marketing and Communications, and Business Intelligence and Customer Experience groups. With these responsibilities, Blecher is focused on developing, communicating and measuring best-in-class products and services.

Prior to joining Agero, Blecher spent six years at the The Parthenon Group, a leading boutique strategy consulting firm. As a Senior Principal, Blecher advised clients on growth strategy, market diligence, mergers and acquisitions, operational improvement, and portfolio strategy.  His areas of focus included information services, manufacturing, publishing, and private equity. 

Prior to joining The Parthenon Group, Blecher was a Manager at Sapient, where he led teams through enterprise architecture planning and systems integration work with Fortune 500 clients in the automotive, insurance and consumer retail markets.

Blecher received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and his M.B.A with distinction from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business as an Edward Tuck Scholar.

Mark Carbrey

Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

As Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer, Mark Carbrey brings over 23 years of software and industrial engineering experience to Agero.

In his role, Carbrey is charged with leveraging his extensive expertise to drive Agero’s technological leadership, growth, and innovation as it delivers next-generation services, advances its award-winning contact centers, and introduces revolutionary improvements to its service delivery infrastructure.

Prior to joining Agero, Carbrey served as Chief Technology Officer of Monster Worldwide, where he was responsible for supporting a number of business units. Prior to Monster Worldwide, Carbrey served as CTO for GetConnected.com and was a Managing Partner and practice leader at US Web/CKS.

Carbrey holds a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and a masters of science in Computer Science from Fitchburg State College.

Peter Necheles

Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, Chief Legal Officer, Corporate Secretary

As Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, Peter Necheles brings over 20 years of business and legal experience to Agero.

In his role, Necheles is responsible for corporate development activities including domestic and international strategic relationships and acquisitions, as well as for legal services such as regulatory compliance, contract negotiations, and general corporate matters. 

Prior to joining Agero, Necheles was senior counsel for the warranty division of Solectron Corporation, an electronic equipment manufacturer (acquired by Flextronics in 2007). He has also served as senior counsel with Stream International, an international call center business, as a junior partner with the law firm WilmerHale (formerly known as Hale and Dorr), and as a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Department of Treasury as a member of the Clinton Administration.

Necheles received his bachelor’s degree from Colby College and his juris doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Bryan Sander

Senior Vice President, Operations

As Senior Vice President of Contact Center and Network Operations, Bryan Sander brings over 20 years of expertise in customer care, operational excellence, and leadership development.  

In this role, Sander leads Agero’s service delivery teams in providing customer care for stranded drivers and in managing more than 30,000 independent Service Providers.

Most recently, he served as Global Vice President of Customer Care for ACI Worldwide, the leading provider of payment systems sold to the world’s largest financial institutions, credit card processors, and retailers. In this role, Sander created and scaled a global customer care and operations team supporting customers in 80 countries, helping the company double revenues to $850 million in less than four years.

Prior to this, Sander held a variety of customer operations roles at Intuit, where he was responsible for customer care, technical support, and order management operations in their Professional Accountant division. While at Intuit, he drove significant gains in customer satisfaction and employee engagement, helping his division triple revenues to $500 million. Earlier in his career, Sander helped lead the growth of Tax & Accounting Software Corporation, a software startup that grew to $35 million in revenue and 500 employees before it was successfully sold.   

Sander, a Six-Sigma trained Green Belt, holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Oral Roberts University and an MBA from Oklahoma State University.
