Agero, Inc. Appoints Automotive Industry Veteran Cathy Orrico as Senior Vice President of Client Services

MEDFORD, Mass. – January 22, 2015 – Agero, Inc., a leading provider of vehicle and driver safety, security and information services, today announced the appointment of Cathy Orrico as senior vice president of client services. With more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, Orrico will lead the company’s efforts to transform the customer experience through product innovation that builds stronger and lasting connections for clients in the automotive and insurance industries and their drivers. She’ll also oversee account and sales management, and client negotiations.

“Agero works with some of the most recognized brands in the automotive and insurance markets, including the manufacturers of 75% of new passenger vehicles sold in the U.S. and 7 out of the top ten auto insurance carriers,” says Orrico. “As the dynamics shift within these industries, our clients are looking for better insights, innovative solutions and new business models leveraging mobile, cloud and big data analytics to create a competitive advantage. I am fortunate to be in a position where I can now use my experience working with clients to help shape the strategic direction of our offerings so we can expand our role as a valued partner to these clients and grow our own client base in both of these critical segments.”

“We are excited to add Cathy to the Agero team,” says Dave Ferrick, CEO of Agero. “Cathy’s deep understanding of the automotive industry, OEM relationships and dealer community, will be invaluable as we focus on strategic product innovation and aligning talent to help both our automotive and insurance clients strengthen brand loyalty with drivers. At Agero, we are coming off an excellent year of growth and have a tremendous opportunity ahead of us to use this momentum to create additional value for our clients and their customers. With the data and insights we can glean from our mobile and cloud applications and platforms, we can help our clients further develop new business models. It’s exciting to be at the forefront of change; Cathy’s addition will help us harness these changes though the entire vehicle ownership lifecycle.”

Prior to Agero, Orrico served as vice president of sales at Reynolds and Reynolds, where she was responsible for OEM solutions. She also held various positions in sales management, sales and marketing, and began her career in customer service installing software applications in dealerships across the Midwest. Orrico studied Economics and Marketing at Western Michigan University. She will work out of Agero’s headquarters in Medford, Mass.
